OnTheMarket Goes Social

The fast growing property portal OnTheMarket, used by Beresfords and other leading Essex estate agents, is now listing all properties on Facebook Marketplace as an additional marketing tool for sellers and landlords.

Facebook Marketplace uses your location to display items other people have put up for sale in your area that can either be purchased outright or bid on. The latest development has been to mirror this marketplace to online property portals and added the ability of listing properties for sale and to rent.

OnTheMarket has recently been trialling listing agents properties on this new platform for lettings, and after a successful trial they are pleased to announce that over the next couple of weeks property for sale listings will be added.

CEO of Beresfords, Paul Beresford commented "This trial for lettings has seen a significant increase in the number of lettings leads that Beresfords have received through OnTheMarket and we are now getting more leads from OnTheMarket than Rightmove thanks to their progressive thinking."

"This added benefit allows even more scope to reach prospective buyers and tenants who are not on the portals once every couple of days, but on Facebook daily, and sometimes even more than that!"
