Nicki in Botswana for Norwood charity

Our Marketing and New Business Director, Nicki Treffers is taking part in a 568km bike ride in Botswana over a 5-day period to raise money and support Norwood charity.

Norwood makes an invaluable difference to people's lives. They have a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners and a family of services designed specifically to support vulnerable children and their families, and children with special educational needs.

The incredible 5-day ride took place on good quality roads, taking them from the safari capital of Maun, through extremes of environment and a diversity of landscape to Kasane on the edge of the Chobe River and Chobe National Park. Long cycling distances along highways travelled by freely roaming elephants, the African Bush, the heat and camping under the stars, and it’s a challenge felt on many different levels - well rewarded by the experience.
