From pastel pinks to fuchsia flare, Beresfords employees donned different shades of pink clothing to show their support for Breast Cancer Now's Wear It Pink campaign on Friday 23rd October.
Each employee donated £1 on the day to 'wear it pink' and entered into a specially arranged raffle for the chance to win some fantastic prizes including, a cut and blow dry at Toni & Guy, make up from Benefit Cosmetics and bottles of wine from Pizza Express. Staff were also surprised with a visit from Dunkin' Donuts who issued them with some special tasty treats.
To raise further funds, the general public are invited to enter a secret auction for the chance to win a spa day for two at Greenwoods Spa near Billericay.
Paul Beresford, Chairman/MD, commented: "We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic event in aid of Breast Cancer Now. Breast cancer is a terrible disease, we are keen to help raise as much awareness and money as possible in order to one day put a stop to it."
Wear it pink day is Breast Cancer Now's flagship fundraising event. People across the UK hold a pink dress down or dress up day at work, at school or at home. Right now breast cancer is at a tipping point. More women are surviving but more are being diagnosed than ever before and every 45 minutes, another woman dies from the disease. Breast Cancer Now are doing everything they can to change this through fundraising and support.
