Beresfords triumph at the oscars for estate agents

By the Beresfords Marketing Team - 10th October 2011

Beresfords Estate Agents recently received the ultimate industry accolades by picking up five awards at the Estate Agent of the Year Awards. Honours included the Gold award for Best Estate Agency in the South East.

The 2010 Estate Agency of the Year Awards in association with The Times and Sunday Times, were held at the Lancaster Hotel in London.

The event, now in its seventh year, is widely recognised as the most important in the industry calendar. The sold out event attracted agents representing over 4,000 branches nationwide and in a sign of improving times for the market, this year received a record number of award entries. The winners of the 33 awards were presented with their accolades by Olympian James Cracknell.

Following their initial submission, each of the winners were interviewed by a panel of independent industry experts and the whole judging process was overseen by the Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer.

The judges' report highlighted the particular qualities of Beresfords stating, "This agency stands out for living up to their own high professional standards throughout all their operations. Their excellent website, online TV channel, exclusive magazines and e-zines and thorough embrace of new technology is matched with extensive sponsorship of local charities and excellent standards of training and recruitment. This knitting together of all the best aspects of old and new has made them a stand-out winner in their category."

Paul Beresford, Chairman/Managing Director of Beresfords, commented at the ceremony: It is with great pleasure that we have been awarded with these five accolades. To have our achievements and hard work recognised by the industry was a very proud moment.
