Living in Shenfield

It could be justifiably argued that Shenfield is the best commuter town not just in Essex but in any of the Home Counties.

Is Shenfield a nice place to live?

There are not many places that you can get on a train from the City of London and step off in a leafy suburb just 22 minutes later… Offering amazing urban convenience, yet a peaceful escape from the capital’s buzzing atmosphere, it is no surprise that Shenfield is one of the most desirable destinations among commuting professionals.

But, is Shenfield a good place to live for families, too? Absolutely! With a relatively small population of just over 5,000 residents, the suburb has a safe and peaceful community feel. The area offers a wide selection of highly sought-after properties, from modern apartments to spacious family homes. And, with the combination of top-rated schools and abundant green spaces, Shenfield is a true gem for families with children.

"Thank you to Jack for helping us purchase a property in Shenfield. He was really accommodating with letting us see/ measure the property and helped with regular updates on the transaction. The conveyancing process was longer than anticipated due to hold ups with the bottom of chain and he understood the situation and helped to inform the gentleman selling the property to us. His good work helped us get the transaction over the line and we are now owners of a property in Shenfield. Thank you for being so friendly and approachable."
