At Beresfords we use a specialist referencing company who conduct extensive checks which in turn ensures that we source the best quality tenants for our clients. From a tenant’s perspective, once approved they then stand out as ‘blue chip’ candidates for any properties becoming available for rent.
During an active tenancy if landlords and tenants have any queries, they will not be put in touch with someone in a call centre environment. At Beresfords they would have one central point of contact who has a detailed understanding of the property concerned. The Property Manager will pro-actively deal with any queries which may arise, and keep all relevant parties regularly updated throughout.
Our team of ‘in house’ Property Inspection Clerks produce a detailed condition report (Inventory) upon commencement of a new tenancy and then visit the property periodically throughout to make sure it is being well cared for. They will also      help tenants with any related queries they may raise and deal with any deposit negotiations at the end of a tenancy.
Compliance within the lettings industry is ever changing and it’s often difficult for both landlords and tenants to remain fully updated. That’s where a ‘regulated’ agent’s steps in!
