Living in Ingatestone

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is not surprising that Ingatestone and some of the surrounding villages such as Fryerning and Stock are home to some of the most exclusive properties in the region.

The station, though village in appearance, actually stands on the main east coast line and will get you into London Liverpool Street in less than 30 minutes. And for those where road is the preferred method of transport, the A12 skirts the village and is only about 7 miles from Junction 28 of the M25.

The term exclusive is certainly true of Ingatestone Hall. It is one of the finest Tudor mansions in the country and is now a major tourist attraction in the summer months. Nearby Mountnessing is also not lacking character and includes a restored windmill dating back to the time of George III.
