There is certainly no shortage of Brentwood things to do and see - a wide choice of leisure activities can be found in and around the town.

The Brentwood Centre has a concert hall attracting national and international acts, a large state-of-the-art gym, and a swimming pool. For outdoor lovers, The Borough of Brentwood has over 1,200 hectares of woodland and three country parks: Warley Country Park, Thorndon Country Park, and Weald Country Park, all offering beautiful walking trails with scenic views.

History buffs can explore the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St Mary & St Helen or visit the Brentwood museum, which holds hundreds of years of human culture and history. For families with kids, visiting the MacDonald’s Farm & Fun Park or the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary offers both fun and education, learning about the different species of animals.

What’s more, the station is now on the Crossrail network, meaning you can connect directly to the world-class retail and social spots in the City and the West End. Regular train services also connect the town to nearby destinations, including Shenfield, Harold Wood, and Gidea Park.

Residents and visitors can take advantage of the extensive bus network operated by First Essex, helping them get around Brentwood town. It also provides links to surrounding cities and towns, such as Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, and Warley.

For drivers, Brentwood is located just off Junction 28 of the M25 and the A1023, allowing you to reach London in just under an hour. The A12 provides quick access to Chelmsford and Colchester, while the A127 offers links to Southend-on-Sea.

Brentwood has some of the most highly regarded schools in the area, with Brentwood School being one of the UK’s leading independent day and boarding schools.

The nearby Shenfield St. Mary's Church of England Primary School, St Peter's Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, and Becket Keys Church of England Free School (secondary school) are equally sought-after, having received the “Outstanding” Ofsted rating.

There is also a special needs school, the Grove House School, catering to pupils with speech, language, and communication difficulties. Take a look below for a full list of primary and secondary schools in Brentwood.

I had recently problems with one of home appliances and I must say that the promptly action taken by Sarah Jones, my Property Manager, to fix the issue was just impeccable. Also appreciate the time and patience taken through the phone trying to explain detailed how to fix the problem, what unfortunately surpassed my expertise. But the quick action on sending a contractor on the next available day, sorted out the problem in a blink of eye. Great Response.

AllAgents

We have dealt with Archie through the Billericay branch and he has been incredibly proactive and professional throughout our dealings with him. Archie maintains constant contact when needed with updates and goes above and beyond in our opinions to tie up any loose ends, so the process is as smooth as possible. In the current chaotic rental market Archie has been one of the most helpful and genuine agents we have come across. Having viewed over 20 properties, we've come across a fair few agents and very few have been as genuinely helpful as Archie. He's an asset to the Beresfords team and has been a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for all you've done to help us secure the property.
