Billericay has excellent transport links. It has its own mainline railway station, with a direct route into London Liverpool Street taking as little as 30 minutes.
By car, it takes about 1 hour and 6 minutes to drive the 33.5-mile journey to London via A13. The B1007 provides quick access to Chelmsford, while the A127 offers links to Southend-on-Sea. Billericay is also conveniently located for the A12 as well as the M25.
First Essex operates an extensive bus network in Billericay, helping locals and visitors get around town, and connecting it to the surrounding villages and towns like Brentwood and Chelmsford.
For holidaymakers, London Stansted Airport is located approximately 19 miles away and has easy access by both road and rail. London Luton Airport is another option, situated roughly 53 miles away.
Billericay is home to a number of highly sought after secondary and infant / junior schools.
The Quilters Infant School, Quilters Junior School, Buttsbury Infant School, Buttsbury Junior School have all received “Outstanding” ratings by Ofsted.
