Beresfords was founded as R Beresford & Co in April 1968 by Reginald and Eileen Beresford.  In 1975 the current MD and Chairman, Paul Beresford, joined the original office in Corbets Tey Road after training in London.  Building upon the success of this office, Beresfords started to expand throughout Essex, and the Upminster office itself moved to the present high-profile corner position in the heart of the town centre in 1994.

Paul believes Beresfords’ experience, professionalism and high standards are the key to the company’s success:  “Throughout Beresfords, each office has someone who has worked in the town for at least 10-15 years.  At Upminster, we have team members who have been there for a considerable amount of time and have immense knowledge of the area.  One of the team members, Rob Bushell, has been with us for 24 years, and his experience, along with that of the other team members, is of great benefit to clients and enables us to achieve the best price possible.”
