The award winning service with a brand new look

Alex Beresford, Assistant Manager, explains how the newly redesigned Chelmsford branch is proving a big hit with both staff and customers alike.

At Beresfords we never rest on our laurels. We are constantly looking to improve and extend the award winning service we provide, and the refitting of our flagship branch on Chelmsford High Street, which officially launches this month, is just one fine example.

Our Chelmsford branch has been a landmark on Duke Street since it first opened in 1997 being in a prime corner location directly in front of the Cathedral. Over the years we have seen the local property market go from strength to strength, with an increasing number of residents and investors gravitating to our newly crowned city, attracted by the direct train links into London, excellent shopping facilities and numerous restaurants, bars and cafes.

Now of course Chelmsford is seeing massive investment. A huge addition to its retail and leisure credentials, especially with John Lewis coming in, upgrades to the station with a second new station on the horizon and substantial new housing schemes to the north are all adding to the city’s appeal.That was the catalyst for us extensively enlarging and refurbishing our office which is designed not only to rise to the constantly evolving buying and rental market but also enhance it as an attractive place to work and visit.The branch includes a contemporary interior design scheme, complete with feature walls, a glass staircase, inviting sofas and even a welcoming fireplace.Whilst we love working in a stylish and light environment, the layout has primarily been designed with our customers in mind.  A new seating and reception area have been created for our clients to use. This is where most our business is conducted - face-to-face and not from behind a desk - which is the essence of our personal approach.

The properties we have for sale and rental also take centre stage with a state-of-the-art window display showcasing the best the city has to offer and flat screen TVs featuring video brochures of properties currently on the market.
