Happy 50th to Beresfords

Beresfords are now in the golden years, and unlike many of us reaching this milestone birthday, we are delighted to be here! With our original office opening in 1968 in Corbets Tey Road, Upminster Beresfords has now grown over the last 50 years by expanding across Havering and throughout Essex up to the Hertfordshire and Suffolk borders. We now employ almost 250 local people, across our many offices and specialist divisions.

When Reg and Eileen Beresfords founded the original office in 1968, their intention was quite clear; to offer a personal and professional service to the people of Upminster. Paul Beresford joined the business in 1975 and since then, the company has grown throughout Essex. The same family ethos is continued by the founding partnersâ?? grandson, Alex Beresford, who is now an Area Director for the company.

We are proud of the fact that for over half a century we have built a strong reputation for supporting local communities, whether that be helping local schools, fetes and events through to larger projects where our teams and clients have raised thousands of pounds for various charities and initiatives.

Beresfords are very proud to be the organisers of our very own Charity Gala Ball for the second year running in aid of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance raising a total of over £45,500 altogether. We have been lucky to offer a selection of amazing auction prizes such as a Maserati for the weekend, a fabulous stay at the world-famous Sugar Hill Resort in Barbados and a private chef cooking experience to name a few as well as the guests are treated to a gala dinner and the charity auction is hosted by BBC Look East and 'Inside Out' TV presenter, David Whiteley. We are looking forward to continuing these charity events and fundraising for many years to come.

We are proud to have acted for thousands of people across the County at various key moments in their lives such as buying their first home, to something bigger through to a more manageable home in later life. In fact in some cases we now count their children and even grandchildren as clients.
