Colchester is on the move

Leading Essex estate agent Beresfords has announced the relocation of its Colchester branch having acquired prime space in the heart of the town. It is the fourth office relocation Beresfords have undertaken in the last 4 years, a ringing endorsement of the High Street vibrant High Street.

The location is just a couple of doors from Colchester's premier retail store, Fenwicks and as such is in one of the highest footfall locations in town.

CEO Paul Beresford commented "We know local people are passionate about their High Street. We are as well because it's ours too, after all we employ over 200 people across the County, all from Essex."

"Why do we relocate offices? The reason is simple. The more visible an estate agent is the more property enquiries you get, the more enquiries you get the more properties you find a buyer or tenant for."

In addition, Paul points to the importance of their other offices further down along the A12 corridor into London. "Our offices further out into Essex constantly get enquiries from people wanting to move out from nearer London. In fact at our Colchester branch, over 60% of those looking for property are from outside the local area so combined with our relocation we are confident we are best placed to find the perfect buyer or tenant for our clients."

Previous relocations have seen an immediate and significant increase in phone calls and email enquiries as well as people through the door even when they have just moved a short distance up the road to a footfall hotspot.
