Being confined to your home can be quite challenging, both mentally and physically. However, there are a lot of ways to ensure you are able to stay fit and healthy with simple and achievable practices and routines.

Here are our top tips

Meditation

The art of thought and contemplation. To sit and take time out to release stress and anxiety is so important. Meditation can take place in a garden, a living room and literally requires sitting still in a quiet environment and focusing on your breath. It's a great way to clear your mind, regroup and get some perspective.

Reading and audiobooks

Knowledge is power. Reading and listening to books is a great way to learn new things. Whether it be how to cook, self help, a new language or philosophical view points, now is a good time to learn and grow. It can also be a welcome distraction when you need to switch off and get lost in a good story!

Tidy house, tidy mind

It's an old-fashioned saying that a tidy space makes you feel decluttered mentally, but while the saying is old-fashioned, the sentiment is definitely true.
