Celebrating International Womens Day – Women in Business

It's International Women's Day and to celebrate, we're reminiscing about our Women in Business events which we held in 2019 and at the start of 2020, prior to the pandemic.

We can't wait to get these events back up and running when we're able to and help more women in business to network and connect in a motivating and inclusive environment.

From our first ever Women in Business event which was held at John Lewis in the centre of Chelmsford complete with a fashion show, canapes and bubbles, to the events which followed at independent bars in Chelmsford, including the Bottle Bureau.

The events began when Beresfords Director of Marketing and New Business, Nicki Treffers wanted to be able to champion local career women at all levels, from apprentices, to assistants, executives and directors.

Nicki says "The Women in Business events bring women from all industries and roles together into a fun and friendly environment to get to know each other and network. Since the events began back in 2019, many attendees have forged strong working relationships with other businesses, and due to the great take up of the events, we now offer sponsorship opportunities, with all proceeds going towards a local women's refuge."
